"Must Try Products of The Month January!"

So all month I have been using different makeup products to see which I like the best. This actually hard for me because I'm not a  very observant person. The only way I for sure know that i like a product is if  it is a product that I'm using everyday and it somehow finds its way into my school bag. I was able to narrow the list down to just a few products this month but these are my absolute "Must Try" products of the month January.
The first products I use on my face are the L'Oreal Magic Perfecting Base Face primer. This primer is literally heaven! It makes my skin so smooth and the application of my foundation goes on way smoother when I use this primer. The second thing is the Maybelline Dark spot eraser concealer. The coverage on this is amazing and the formula itself is easy to blend.
Retail For:
L'Oreal Primer: $8.59
Maybelline Concealer: $7.94

Alright, so I was using a Maybelline Pressed Powder to set my foundation and concealer but I would notice that my T-Zone area would be oily within a few hours. So, I tried out this Covergirl  Loose Powder to set my foundation and I haven't had any problems with my T-zone getting extremely oily, I eventually have to reapply some powder after a few hours just right on the tip of my nose and around my nostrils. NYX Matte Setting Spray has been a product that I have used for months and have no complaints! i notice that with the setting spray my makeup lasts a lot longer that it does without it. The spray also helps prevent my shadows and liner from smudging.
Retail For:
Covergirl Setting Powder:$5.84
NYX Setting Spray: $8.00

Okay, so these two makeup brushes are from real techniques! I had been wanting to buy a real techniques brush for forever and when I did you know I had to gt the essential everyday brushes. The larger brush is the stippling brush and the purple one is the shading brush. The stippling brush has changed the way my foundation applies completely! It gives an even coat of foundation in all areas of the face and the finish is pure perfection. The shading brush is great for getting right into the crease, outer corner, inner corner, and under the lash line.
Retail For :
Stippling brush:$9.98
Shading Brush: $4.79

The lip products are both from NYX they retail for $5.99. the quality is amazing! The soft matte lip creams are light in consistency and dry matte as they say. There is a little transfer but I don't mind that. the butter gloss is my absolute favorite. I love the smell, the taste (we all do it), the feeling, and the creaminess of these is mind blowing!

All Product Mentioned were bought with my own money.

  1. I like a lot of these products, especially the Cover Girl foundation. You should try a CC cream that's specifically made for oily skin under that powder. It will help.

5 Simple Steps To Overdrawn Lips

Overdrawn lips have become huge these past couple of months. I never thought that I would be one to even try attempting to overdraw mine. But little did I know it really isn't that difficult! And it is even easier when you do a slight overdraw, the steps are way more simpler then I thought. These are the steps I take to achieve my soft overdrawn lip. Step 1: Prime your lips!  Exfoliate, scrub, conceal, apply a lip primer if you want! This helps in three different ways, when you use a lips scrub and exfoliate your lips you are guaranteed to make your lips more plump, concealing your lips will help you manipulate the shape that you want, and priming your lips will make the pigment of the lip colors you use be more true to it's color. Step 2: Great! your lips have been primed and exfoliated Now grab a lip pencil (any color of your choice) and lightly start stroking the shape that you want. I start at my cupids bow. When I draw I draw literally right on top

Chit Chat: Get Ready With Me! Fail!

These past couple of days have not been great. I record a "Chit Chat GRWm" for the first time on saturday, the footage was more than an hour long. I edited for two hours straight but when I went to export the video it turned out I didn't have space on my computer so I deleted the video file because I thought I no longer needed it. I guess it turns out that you can't export a video and not have the original file it came from. So.... I am extremely frustrated but I did really like the makeup and decided I would just post the look here and list the products and steps! Sounds good? I think so.
